Wes & Taylor, Wedding Millbottom Jefferson City, Missouri

Weddings 10 . 6 . 20

Joy. To put it simply, this day was full of joy. Congrats Mr & Mrs Christiansen! Undoubtedly, this has been a tough year for couples as they wade through a a pandemic and plan their weddings. I knew Wes and Taylor were planning a big day and I was hopeful they would get to continue with plans even with a few less guests. It was perfect, everything was beautiful and family and friends were able to attend. They held their ceremony and reception at the Millbottom. It was decorated to the nines!

I worked with a top vendor team! Special thanks to Plan it Terra, Terra Nickelson, for coordinating a seamless day for all involved. Wes and Taylor are an incredibly sweet couple, I enjoyed getting to know them and their families. I feel so fortunate to have documented this wedding day, I hope these memories are cherished for a lifetime. Cheers and wishes for a long happy marriage. XO

Mr & Mrs Cunningham – Wedding Jefferson City Country Club, Jefferson City Missouri

Weddings 3 . 13 . 20

Congrats to Mr & Mrs Cunningham! I have been excited all year to document this wedding. The two chose to do an intimate Friday evening affair in November at the Cathedral of St. Joesph. It was formal and romantic, perfect for the quaint gathering of their closet friends and family.  The two have the most sincere love and affection for each other. Their faces light up around one another, there is nothing more a photographer could ask for when photographing a couple. Simply, Maggie was STUNNING! Her classic beauty was the epitome of a bride. I loved the special touches of the florals designed by River City Florist and the personalized wax seals on their invitations. More importantly, the outpouring of love these two have for each other and the enormous amount of support from their families.

I loved the break away from tradition, we shot all of their portraits after dark. We ventured to her parents farm for some festive porch photos and a gorgeous tree they had embellished with lights. I love the uniqueness of their portraits. After a few photos, they entered the Jefferson City County Club for their reception. Dinner and Cold Stone Ice Cream were served. That evening St. Louis Big Band provided jazz music that kept the guests dancing for hours. Many congrats to this sweet couple, thanks for allowing me to document this special day.

Congrats to Lauren and Shane on their beautiful wedding! The two traded nuptials at the Soreson Estate in Columbia, Missouri in a small intimate ceremony. They opted for a morning wedding and brunch. It was a perfect fall ceremony, guests were greeted with muffins and coffee upon arrival. After the wedding, Bleu Events wowed everyone with a delicious main course and treats. The decor and set-up of Sorenson Estate was exquisite. I am so happy as Lauren and Shane start their lives together, thanks for allowing me to be apart of your day!

Mr & Mrs Arends, Wedding Day Ashland, Missouri

Weddings 11 . 7 . 19

Congratulations to Riley and Lane! I have been looking forward to Riley and Lane’s wedding for the past year. I have worked with Riley before and knew their family. They are a wonderful bunch and I knew her wedding day would be beautiful and special. Lane completes her, and they have mutual adoration for each other.  I couldn’t be happier for these two!

They held their ceremony and reception at Riley’s parents’ farm. It is a gorgeous property with a large lake and horse barn. Their ceremony was at the lake and then guests walked to the barn and tented area for the cocktail hour and reception. The weather was non-cooperative for their day, but that didn’t get in their way of having a good time and enjoying every moment. Plus, rain on your wedding day just means good luck :)

I am so very grateful for this couple, I found out I was pregnant and due 3 days after their wedding date. I enlisted a dear friend and another amazing photographer Sarah Beth Photography. Having her there was amazing and a great piece of mind for everyone. However, I did shoot the wedding and lasted throughout the evening at 40 weeks pregnant! I was so happy I got to be apart of the day!

Thank you for allowing me to document your beautiful wedding. Many wishes and blessing for your new marriage.

Mr & Mrs Parker, Wedding Day The Millbottom Jefferson City, Missouri

Weddings 9 . 5 . 19

Congrats to Liz & Kyle! I don’t even know where to start with this beautiful day! Liz and Kyle are the sweetest, the way they look at each with adoration is a testament to their relationship. I met Liz at her cousins wedding a few years ago, where she was the maid of honor. I loved her bubbly personality and I think she has the most amazing hair! Ha! In all seriousness, I was so excited when they contacted me about photographing their wedding. To work with their family again was a complete honor and privilege. I knew the day would be beautiful and full of love.

She had an amazing line up of vendors to help with this special day. From the decor to locations everything was perfect. After getting ready at her parents home, they held their wedding ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City. After the ceremony, we went to the family farm house for pictures. This home was her grandma’s and holds lots of special childhood memories. They even waded the creek together she used to frequent when she was a child.

After a little trolley fun downtown, the couple and friends arrived at the Millbottom for the reception. Theresa Heckman, once again, created a beautiful space for all the reception festivities! One of my favorite parts of the evening, was her Dad’s toast. I don’t think many had a dry eye. After having 3 older boys, Liz is his little girl. Lots of great memories and highlights from this wedding, as you scroll, check out those adorable flower girls and amazing florals by Sugarberry Blooms!

Wishing you many years of health and happiness, thanks for allowing me to be apart of this day!
