Shelby’s senior session was photographed on possibly the coldest day of the year! She did amazing and I only heard her teeth chatter once :) Shelby is a 2014 senior at Jefferson City High School. She is absolutely gorgeous and has the sweetest personality. I really enjoyed our session together. After school she plans on attending college.

I know the popular time of the year is summer and early fall, but there is something that I love about a winter senior session.  The winter chill and I don’t normally get along, but I can’t resist that warm soft winter sunlight. We started Shelby’s photo-shoot in the small town of Lohman, which is about 15 minutes from Jeff City. She has fond memories of passing through that town as a child on her way to visit family. The little town is picturesque a perfect reflection of small town USA. I hope to travel back there for more photo-shoots. Since Shelby loves the outdoors we also made a stop of Binder State Park.
