Congratulations Brad & Rachel! These two have been dating for a long time; friends and family were so happy to see them make it official. The weather was calling for a wash-out, thankfully, the clouds cleared. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day! We started the day our Brad and Rachel’s home, where the girls got ready. I love shooting in couples homes, there are so many personal details to add into photos. They opted to do a first look before the wedding; one of my favorite first looks of all time! After the first look, they had a trolley to tour them around the city prior to the reception. Brad & Rachel were married at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson City.

Their reception was held at Braykley Hall. It was so gorgeous! They started the evening with toasts from family and the bridal party. I enjoyed listening and watching, this group knows how to have a good time! The rest of the evening was spent dancing and catching up with guests who traveled all over the US to be with them. Best wishes to you, Brad & Rachel, for a long happy life together! Thanks for allowing me to be apart of your wedding!

Looking back on this wedding, I get a little misty eyed. What a beautiful day for a perfect couple. Congrats Erin & Levi! What I love most about this wedding, is the raw emotion from the happy couple, friends, and family. It was a joyous day. Erin & Levi were married in the church Erin grew up in, Columbia United Church of Christ. The two wrote sweet little love letters to each other to read prior to the ceremony. After their ceremony, we went to Nifong Park to photograph the new happy couple.

Their reception was held at the Plaza Event Center in Columbia, Mo. The two enjoyed several heartfelt toasts, cheesecake, and danced the night away. Perfect day for this perfect couple, so happy I was able to document it for them! Cheers to a long happy life together!

Greg & Betsy, Des Moines, Iowa – Temple of Performing Arts

I am so very excited to share our latest video! Betsy called me a few weeks before their wedding after seeing one of our previous films. Turns out it was one the only weekend Nick and I didn’t have another wedding booked. It was meant to be :) We packed and head to Des Moines! Greg and Betsy are a beautiful and perfect couple! I could instantly tell by chatting on the phone with Betsy it was going to be an awesome day. They both have a happy and energetic vibe.

Their wedding and reception was held at the Temple of Performing Arts in Des Moines. It is an awesome location for a wedding! It’s in the heart of Downtown Des Moines close to Pappajohn Sculpture Park. The architecture of the Performing Arts building and around downtown Des Moines is exquisite. They had a beautiful spring day for their wedding which ended in a gorgeous sunset. After their ceremony, we went to Gray’s Lake which is the spot where they had their first date and Greg proposed! We were able to film in the same spot he popped the question :)

I am so excited to blog about Megan and Brian’s wedding day! It was absolutely beautiful, and I couldn’t’ be happier for these two. Megan added several personal touches to her wedding day, including her gorgeous broche bouquet! It was unique and included several brooches from friends and family. They were married at the Church of St. Mary in the National Churchill Museum. It is a gorgeous spot in Fulton, Missouri on Westminster’s campus. I have photographed in several churches and cathedrals, however, this one takes the cake. Quite possibly one of the most gorgeous. The surrounding campus is also picturesque. The two opted not to see each other prior to the ceremony, but the tiered balcony allowed us to do a few pictures before without seeing each other. The looks on their faces when they saw each other for the first time was priceless. So happy and in love!

This has to be one of the most fun and energetic wedding parties! Brian and Megan are a great couple. Brian keeps her laughing and giggling at all times. Their reception was held at Brakley Hall in Jefferson City. The evening was filled with dancing, toasts, and lots of laughter. The band, Straight 8 Arrow, kept everyone dancing and singing throughout the night. Congrats Mr & Mrs Jacobson, thanks for allowing me to be apart of your day!

Mr & Mrs Kendrick- St. Louis, Missouri Coronado Ballroom

I don’t even know where to start with this gorgeous ballroom wedding! Jen and Tom are an amazing couple. They started dating several years ago. Their love has traveled all over the world. They now reside in London together. Jen works in the fashion industry so I had no doubt the accessories and details of their wedding would be to die for. When she mentioned her Jenny Packham gown during their engagement pictures, I was already head over heels. Their wedding and reception was held at the Coronado Ballroom downtown St. Louis. I love this venue. The dripping crystal chandeliers, marble floors, and vaulted ceilings make this ballroom. It is also strategically located across from St. Louis University’s campus, which is beautiful in the spring time.

They two shared a wonderful evening with toasts from friends and family and lots of dancing! Their band, Galaxy Red, played into the evening. At the end of the night, they made their exit with sparklers. So happy they are currnelty enjoying their honeymoon! Best wishes Jen & Tom, thanks for allowing me to be apart of your day :)
