This girl, love her! Maggie is one awesome lady, look out world, she is going places. I adore her sweet and kind personality, she sure knows how to light up a room. For her senior pictures, we were able to shoot somewhere special to her and her family, her grandparents old farm. She spent many hours on the farm spending time with family, and it made the perfect spot to get some photos with her horses. After we shot out at the farm, we opted for some downtown and Capital pictures for an urban look. Congrats on your senior year Maggie!

Devin & Morgan Jefferson City, Missouri Engagement Session

You may remember these two from Devin’s crazy romantic proposal we photographed on 4th of July! You have a good one, Morgan, hang on to him :) I simply adore these two, I have had the privilege to get to know both of them over the past year and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for this little family. Morgan knew about this location of Lilly pads and it made for a perfect spot for their engagement pictures. After shooting at the lake, we headed back to her parents house to get a few pictures with their sweet pup, Maizee. My other talents include dog whispering ;) If you get engaged on July 4th, it only makes sense to get some photos with sparklers! Can’t wait for June!

Jonathan & Danielle – Osage National Wedding Lake Ozarks, Missouri

An affair to remember….Congrats Jonathan and Danielle! It was our pleasure spending time with you two and your family for your elopement wedding to Lake of the Ozarks! We also had the opportunity to capture this beautiful day on video as well as photo. The two have the sweetest love story, it makes you realize that if you are meant to be someone, love will find a way. Danielle was born and raised in France, and Jonathan grew up in the Midwest in Iowa. Danielle decided to come to the US for college as she had wanted to live here and had family in the area. They met in college and their love for each other grew from there.

The two decided to get married in Lake of the Ozarks at Osage National Golf Resort. This was a central place for Danielle’s family from France to fly in and Jonathan’s family from Iowa to road-trip. They had a small outdoor ceremony on a warm summer day, everything was perfect. Their reception was held at the clubhouse where guests enjoyed dinner and heartfelt speeches from Danielle’s best friend and Jonathan’s brother. The party went all night, lots of dancing and celebrating!

We are so happy for you two to start your lives together! Best wishes for a long happy life, thanks for allowing us to be apart of this beautiful day :)

Jonathan & Danielle, Engaged Jefferson City, Missouri

I am so excited to share this couple and their love story on my blog! I got to spend a week with these two earlier this month. They eloped to Lake of the Ozark’s and were joined by close friends and family. The two met in college, fell in love, and moved to Alaska for their careers.

We shot their engagement session and wedding all in one week. It just so happens the only day it didn’t rain that week was their wedding. We are thankful for that! For their engagement session, we had not choice but to shoot in the rain. I was a little worried how the rain would affect our shoot, but these two light up each other. They are so photogenic! I loved that Danielle chose an elegant white dress for the shoot that doubled as her rehearsal dinner dress. Can’t wait to post their wedding next week!
