Congrats on your senior year Abby! I had so much working with Abby and her mom for this session. Abby is an absolute doll and joy to photograph. I loved her vision and outfits for the shoot. This session is so unique and I had to share, I loved being able to think out of the box and create something different than the norm. One thing I really loved about this session was the awesome location. What photographer doesn’t love an old loft apartment?! Abby’s classic black prom dress was stunning! Special thanks to Taylor at Catherine Crum the Salon for hair and make-up! So happy to have had the chance to work with you, Abby, best wishes for your senior year!

Eric & Savannah – Shawnee Bluff Vineyard, Lake of the Ozarks

Weddings 8 . 13 . 14

Congrats Eric & Savannah! What a beautiful day it was for a wedding at Shawnee Bluff Vineyard. Eric and Savannah are so great together, their friends and family were so happy to see them make it official. The wedding day was very relaxed, Savannah met Eric in the vineyards for a first look prior to the ceremony. I loved their happy and surprised faces! Their ceremony overlooked the vineyards; it was a gorgeous spot. Their sweet little flower girl, Lexi, walked down the isle telling guests that the bride was coming! She was the cutest! I especially love the shot my second shooter captured of the ring bearer praying during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, Eric and Savannah greeted guests and started dinner with toasts followed by cake and dancing. So happy these two found each other and get to spend the rest of their lives together. Best wishes Mr & Mrs Sommers, so happy to document your day :)

Meagan, Jefferson City Senior 2015

I am obsessed with this session. If you know me, my personal favorite is neutral colors and light flowy fabrics. Meagan and I are a lot alike; I am absolutely in love with the color palette and mood of this session. It is a good reminder that simple is best :) Meagan is naturally stunning, I can’t image a better look than her beach waves exploring the shore line. I think I may have found a new favorite Missouri beach! We shot along the riverside which was littered with awesome driftwood. Meagan is a cross country runner so she ran along the waters edge for a few shots. We also stopped in at the community garden to explore some of the beautiful flowers this time of the year. Congrats on your senior year, Meagan, you are such a joy to photograph!

Janie, 2015 Helias Senior

Jefferson City did win the Rand McNally competition last year for the “Most Beautiful City” that must apply to the people as well! Janie is so gorgeous! I am so happy she is apart of my 2015 senior model team; I have loved getting to know her and her family. There is something about her that reminds me of a southern girl. This shoot was relaxed, causal, and so much fun. Enjoyed our time together Janie! Congrats on your senior year!
