Madison & Madison – Engagement Fulton, Missouri

I would say you are a match made in heaven if you have the same name! When Madi first contacted me, I could tell I was going to love everything about these two and their wedding day. Madison was born and raised in Fulton and the two have recently moved back. When your first home is as cute as theirs, you have to do some engagement pictures there! If you know me, you know I have a love for old homes. After shooting around their home, we went out to Madison’s family farm to take advantage of the vineyards and lake. I can’t wait to shoot there again next Fall at their wedding. Congrats you two!!

Chris & Megan – Engagement Columbia Missouri

Congrats to Chris and Megan! I am so happy to work with these two. In the short time I have got to know them, I can already tell they have a love that will weather through anything and everything. For their engagement shoot, they wanted to visit a few spots that they normally frequent. Special thanks to Uprise Bakery and Ragtag Theater in Columbia for allowing us to shoot around! After shooting downtown, we headed out to the MKT trail for a few more shots to enjoy the beautiful fall day. I am so excited for the spring, can’t wait to work with these two again!

Eric & Sheniqua, Engagement Chicago, Illinois

These two, cute as they can be. We had a wonderful time working with this sweet couple in Chicago a few weekends ago. Spring is so beautiful in the city! Eric and Sheniqua met in college, they fell in love during the summer when they both interned in Europe together. They moved to Chicago to pursue their dream jobs; in October they will seal the deal back in their home state of Missouri.

We started our photo-shoot at the Kinzie Street Bridge and then headed out to the other part of the city where they live. Our last stop was one of their favorite cafe’s where the two share a cup of coffee almost weekly. I can’t wait to work with you guys again, congrats on your engagement!

P.S. Thanks for the awesome pizza recommendation while we were in town ;)

Taylor & Shae, Jefferson City Engagement

I was so happy to team up with the News Tribune and Her Magazine for another year of the Best Proposal Contest. It is so fun reading all of the sweet love stories and I am always surprised by the creative proposals. This year Taylor and Shae grabbed the top spot for the best proposal. Taylor proposed to Shae this past year in an airplane ride that she thought was a trip to celebrate their 1st year anniversary. Their plane ride took them over their home were a 4 foot by 30 foot banner was staked to the ground below with the wording, “Shae, will you marry me?” She said yes!

We decided to photograph their engagement shoot that was going to be featured in the magazine at the Jefferson City Airport, with a small passenger plane similar to what they flew in that day. Imagine the coldest and windiest day you can, now multiply it by a thousand! It was crazy cold the day we photographed their session, but they look so warm and natural! Tracy & Samantha, Lake Ozark Missouri Engagement Session

How sweet are these two!?! I was so happy to to join Tracy and Sam at their vacation home at the Lake of the Ozarks this fall for their engagement session. It was a gorgeous day and an amazing location. Their home sits back in one of the coves at the Lake so it is very quite and serene. The two enjoy boating and relaxing at the lake on weekends so this was the perfect location to shoot their session. It was great working with you two; congrats again on your upcoming wedding!
