Warm sunshine early on a Saturday morning with the scent of fresh fruits and veggies in the air; nothing says summer like a Farmer’s Market. Oye! I am so happy to share this engagement session! Tony and Karen are the perfect couple; I adore them. We are so excited to photograph and film their wedding in North Carolina next year! Tony and Karen attended the same small country school, yet never really knew each other. Five years ago, Karen went to a party at Tony’s house which promoted their first conversation and eventually lead to their first date. Tony proposed at the Trans Siberian Orchestra in Kansas City, which was also one of their first dates, surrounded by family and friends. They have so much history together between their families. Tony’s dad married Karen’s parents 26 years ago and will marry Tony & Karen on the beach next year.

They choose the Farmer’s Market Downtown Warrensburg, as it was a spot they have been visiting since they were little, for their engagement pictures. It is not only a familiar spot, but something they have always loved about their hometown. Since Tony is in the military, they are unsure where they will travel and live, but these images will remain a reminder of a piece of home. After they picked up some fresh fruit and veggies at the market, we strolled through downtown. We stopped in at one of their favorite cafes, The Blackadder. They hadn’t opened for lunch yet, but it smelled amazing in there! I can’t to go back and visit; thanks for a great morning Karen & Tony!
