What can I say about these two, Congrats Morgan & Devin! It was an absolute pleasure being able to document and witness their wedding day. These two are the sweetest, Devin is always coming up with ways to make Morgan smile. They are both full of love for each other, their families, and God. Their relationship is the perfect recipe for a long happy life together. I can’t wait to see where this life takes them!

Morgan and Devin started the day off getting ready in separate areas. Morgan was the the first bride to use our new suite, The High Street Suite, downtown Jefferson City! It was so fun decorating that space and then being able to photograph details and getting ready shots there. From there, the girls went to the church where the guys were putting on final touches. Morgan and Devin gave each other heartfelt notes, gifts, and prayed together before tying the knot. Their ceremony was held at Capital City Christian Church in Jefferson City. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the church when Morgan and Devin read each other their vows. After the ceremony, we went back to the spot where we did their engagement photos to re-create the scene. I was skeptical if they would want to get back into the canoe in the lily pad pond, but I am so happy they did!

Their reception was all about fun, lots of laughing, dancing, and eating! It was held at the Millbottom in Jefferson City which is one of the most unique event venues in town. The dessert table was one of the largest I have ever seen at a wedding! Morgan’s aunt went to great lengths baking adorable treats for all their guests to indulge. At the end of the evening, we had a little fun with sparklers! I thought that was a very appropriate way to end the night when you get engaged on 4th of July! Many wishes for a long life together :)

2016 Senior Model Styled Shoot – Apple Orchard, Jefferson City Missouri

I am so giddy with this gorgeous session! Since we have more senior models this year than years past, I decided to do two styled shoots instead of one large shoot. The first shoot, was the beach inspired theme and the other shoot was an apple orchard theme. Funny thing, this shoot didn’t work out as planned due to the weather, it turned out way better than my original idea! Melissa at La Sienne is a master at hair and she came up with these vintage volume styles. I love how it all came together!

These ladies were such a joy to photograph and we had a beautiful evening! We started photographing in the main orchard and the farm kitty kept photo-bombing all our shots. She loved Amber! We decided to let the kitty be apart of our shoot, you may spot her in these photos :)

Special thanks to Fisher Pumpkin Patch for allowing us to use their gorgeous orchards and La Sienne Salon and Spa for the hair and make-up! I am so excited to work with these ladies again and more 2016 seniors! I have officially started booking for the summer and fall. Don’t wait to book, I do have limited appointments!

Awaiting Baby John Henry

It is finally spring, I am so excited for warmer weather and all the gorgeous shoots and weddings! I had an amazing time working with Emma and Johnny on their maternity session. John Henry is going to have two very awesome parents that love him dearly. Emma is the owner of E. Clare Vintage and had a vision for her maternity shoot. They brought along a gorgeous Victorian blue sofa and a sweet floral crown made by Kent’s Florals in Columbia, Mo. I couldn’t have had more fun with these two, Congrats on your little boy!
