I would say you are a match made in heaven if you have the same name! When Madi first contacted me, I could tell I was going to love everything about these two and their wedding day. Madison was born and raised in Fulton and the two have recently moved back. When your first home is as cute as theirs, you have to do some engagement pictures there! If you know me, you know I have a love for old homes. After shooting around their home, we went out to Madison’s family farm to take advantage of the vineyards and lake. I can’t wait to shoot there again next Fall at their wedding. Congrats you two!!

Chris & Megan – Engagement Columbia Missouri

Congrats to Chris and Megan! I am so happy to work with these two. In the short time I have got to know them, I can already tell they have a love that will weather through anything and everything. For their engagement shoot, they wanted to visit a few spots that they normally frequent. Special thanks to Uprise Bakery and Ragtag Theater in Columbia for allowing us to shoot around! After shooting downtown, we headed out to the MKT trail for a few more shots to enjoy the beautiful fall day. I am so excited for the spring, can’t wait to work with these two again!

Trevor & Katie – Engagement Capen Park Columbia, Missouri

I am so happy that Katie and Trevor found each other, they make the cutest couple. Oh, and their fur baby Holt! I love sessions with couples and their dogs, they always add energy and spontaneous shots. Holt sure was excited to be out enjoying a beautiful fall day. We started their engagement session at Capen Park in Columbia, Missouri and then moved downtown Columbia for some different scenery. I love all the fall colors in this shoot! Many congrats on your engagement, and we can’t wait to work with you this upcoming summer!

Jay & Jessica – Engagement Downtown Jefferson City, Missouri

You know that couple that just makes you gush because they are so cute together? Yep, these two right here! Jessica is spunky, fun, and witty; Jay adores everything about her. They are both creative people, Jessica is a graphic artist and photographer and Jay works in cinema as well as touring around and playing in a band. Working with other like minded creative people is a dream come true!

The two chose the quaint downtown of Jefferson City for some engagement pictures before heading out to the Katy Trail. We caught the fall colors just in time, we were surrounded by lush yellows and oranges. I was super happy that Jay and Jessica brought their sweet fur baby, Libby. She has added so much joy to their lives, and a little mischief ;) Absolutely loved working with this gorgeous couple, can’t wait for next fall!

Mr & Mrs Stone – Firestone Baars Chapel/Kimball Ballroom Columbia, Missouri

Congrats to Austin and Cassie! It was exciting to see their wedding come together as Cassie has been endlessly planning since their engagement. The two decided to have their ceremony and reception at Stephen’s College Campus. I adore the style of this wedding, lots of gold and neutral colors were the perfect palette for this golden afternoon. Their ceremony was held at the Firestone Baars Chapel and their reception was held at Kimball Ballroom. They are both Mizzou grads so they wanted to hold their wedding in Columbia. Their wedding day was perfect, everyone was relaxed and ready to party. It was also a blessing to have a beautiful day of mild temperatures and golden sunlight.

Cassie and the girls got ready at Senior Hall Parlor on campus. It is the perfect area for a bride and her maids to put on the final touches. As soon as Cassie slipped into her dress, she was ready to see Austin. They two did a first look and exchanged gifts! After a short stroll on campus, they made their way over to the chapel to make it official. After a sweet ceremony surrounded by closed friends and loved ones, guests filled Kimball Ballroom for the evening festivities. After dinner, Austin and his mom cut a rug with a mother-son dance that won’t soon be forgotten! The dance floor was hopping all night!
