I can’t wait for these two to get married next year! Lauren and Devin have been dating for several years and are looking forward to tying the knot in the spring of next year. We shot their session downtown Jefferson City and the River access. We shot until the sun set below the trees; I later found out that there was an eclipse that night, it made the sky a brilliant pink. They are such a fun and bubbly couple, a perfect match. Looking forward to next year!
How I adore the sweet and pretty Alyssa! She was such a joy to photograph! I had the best time hiking through the woods and chatting with her. We photographed her session on the Katy Trail and at their farm so we could include her horse, Templeton. What can I say, I love barefoot backyard weddings. I adore these types of affairs where close friends and family gather to celebrate two people starting their lives together. Cori & Julie’s wedding was just that and absolute perfection. Their wedding was held at their families ranch outside of Jeff City. They were married at sunset by the lake and passed the evening by under a twinkle light tent. What I loved most about this wedding was all the personal touches from the lace gloves, antique rings, teardrop tats, fire dancers, and those red maracas! This wedding day was laid back and enjoyed by all.
Their reception kicked off with fireworks and fire dancing! It was incredible and some of the coolest entertainment I have ever seen at a wedding. I felt like I was in Tahiti which was planned, as they almost eloped before planning their backyard wedding.

Kendall was so fun to work with, plus she is incredibly gorgeous! I adore her sweet personality, she is going to move mountains. We found the most beautiful field of wildflowers while hiking through the woods. We finished up our session in some urban locations downtown Jeff City. Congrats on your senior year Kendall! Oh Laura, so beautiful inside and outside. Not only is this lady gorgeous, but she is incredibly talented and athletic. I loved all the personal items she brought to her shoot. She wore her grandma’s ring and even brought her grandpas vintage camera! The ethereal sunrise was simply stunning for photos that morning. Congrats on your senior year Laura!
