Codi & Sarah- Kansas City Missouri

Engagement 12 . 18 . 13

As I was chatting with Sarah over the phone about her wedding, visions, and style, I knew we were a perfect match. Her and Codi met while she was working at her Dad’s business. He came in one day and they hit it off. Codi proposed while vacationing in Glacier Park, Montana. Sarah came to me with a unique thought for her engagement session. She wanted to do part of the shoot styled in the 1920’s. They both really love that era and collect antiques and heirlooms from that generation. I was in LOVE with the idea! They wanted the shoot to resemble the movie “Lawless” that depicted a  family who made their living off of moonshine in the 1920’s. Sarah has antique chairs, fur coats, pistols, the original blue mason jars they used for transport, and a Model A Ford. How cool is that?!?

For the first part of their session they wanted to take a few around the small town of Pleasant Hill, where they both work at a family owned grain elevator. The downtown area of Pleasant Hill  is darling and has several older buildings. I love the small town atmosphere, everyone we passed on the street knew Sarah and Codi and stopped to chat. Their fur baby, June, also posed for some pictures. She is such a cute pup! Nick was unenthused when I came home requesting one just like her :)

Can’t wait for 2014 and their spring wedding!

A Fearlessly Feminine Weekend

Uncategorized 12 . 10 . 13

So excited to announce my first Glamour event! January 11th and 12th, 2014 at Mt Nebo Cottage in Rocheport. Glamour Sessions will be offered at a reduced rate. I found this sweet little cottage while photographing a wedding this fall. I thought it would be the perfect location for a girls weekend. The cottage is about 15 miles north of Columbia and about 5 miles from Les Bourgeois Winery. This will be the perfect girls weekend to pamper yourself!

This event arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day. All images will be delivered within 2 weeks after your photo-shoot. I will also have optional “little black books” for purchase that will arrive just in time for your significant other. Once you have booked your session, our style team will contact you to discuss the look you are wanting. This is about you so we want to make sure you are comfortable with your hair, make-up, and outfits. I will also have style boards on my Pinterest for you to get ideas.

You don’t have to be young or perfect to be involved. We love to style women of all ages and sizes. This experience is fun, pampering, and a huge confident boast. It would also make a great Christmas gift for your loved one :) We only have 10 spots available so please book early. Half down is required at booking and the remainder is to be paid the day of your shoot.

Ladies who book a session will a receive a $20 gift card to Catherine Crum the Salon towards a color service. If you have a group of 3 or more interested in booking, all ladies will receive a $100 credits towards any album or product. Please contact lindsey@lindseypantaleo.com for booking information.

Mr & Mrs Philpot, Rocheport Missouri Wedding

Weddings 11 . 26 . 13

There nothing that makes me more happy than photographing a wedding that is a true representation of a couple. Couples that blend their personality and style into their wedding day is one of my favorites to capture. Larkin and Emily are such an awesome couple. After their engagement session last year I went home telling my husband how fun their were. Emily is a saucy and energetic. I am really sad their wedding is over as I enjoyed the various emails we sent back and forth to each other over this year. Emily is a spitfire and totally cracks me up. She believes that you shouldn’t leave your house for the day without wearing something in leopard print. Emily, can we be BFF’s?

The two met and started dating years ago through school. They planned their entire wedding while living in another country! We started their day in Rocheport at the Mount Nebo Cottage. The girls got ready in the cottage while the guys were down the street in a cabin. I love this sweet little town, everything is in walking distance. One of Emily’s details that I adored was her bouquets. There were all handmade paper flowers! Her friend Lili Johnstone, the owner of D’fy,crafted all these sweet arrangements. I thought it was such a unique touch. She also made all the centerpieces for the reception. Emily’s dress was from a company called The Brides Project. When she was telling me about her dress I thought this was a neat concept. The Bride Project sells donated dresses and gives the profits to cancer charities.

Larkin and Emily did their first look at the cottage and then strolled along the Katy Trail for some shots together. We headed to their ceremony and reception venue Les Bourgeois Winery. They were married on the hill top that over looks the Missouri River. It is an amazing location and especially beautiful at sunset. Their reception was loads of fun complete with toasting, pie, a photobooth, and lots of dancing! Congrats Emily and Larkin, so happy you allowed me to be a part of your beautiful wedding!

Alex, 2014 Helias Senior

Seniors 11 . 26 . 13

I have been so excited to blog Alex’s senior session! She is a total knock-out! The Kardashian’s have nothing on this girl. Alex is a 2014 senior at Helias High School in Jefferson City.  After high school, she plans to become a large animal vet.  Alex has a horse  named Misty and wanted to incorporate Misty into her senior pictures. After we photographed downtown, we went out to the family farm where Misty lives.  Misty was one of the easiest animals I have ever photographed. She listened so well to Alex.

Congrats on your senior year, Alex, best wishes for your future!Helias High School Senior Jefferson City Missouri (2) Helias High School Senior Jefferson City Missouri (3) Helias High School Senior Jefferson City Missouri (4) Helias High School Senior Jefferson City Missouri (1) Helias High School Senior Jefferson City Missouri (5) Helias High School Senior Jefferson City Missouri (6)

Brian & Megan, Engaged

Engagement 11 . 26 . 13

Congrats to Brian and Megan on their engagement and wedding next year! These two are so much fun. I think I laughed their entire session, Brian is so funny! We definitely braved the cold for their session. The best part about shooting in cool temperatures is having cuddly couples!

We started their session downtown Jefferson City. I was especially in love with Megan’s Louboutin’s heels! We then headed for one of my favorite spots along the Katy Trail which is so pretty this time of the year. Looking forward to  May!Jefferson City and Columbia Missouri Wedding Photography (3)Jefferson City and Columbia Missouri Wedding Photography (1)Jefferson City and Columbia Missouri Wedding Photography (2)Jefferson City and Columbia Missouri Wedding Photography (4)Jefferson City and Columbia Missouri Wedding Photography (5)Jefferson City and Columbia Missouri Wedding Photography (6)
